About: "The Team"
Meet Me - Jerusalem Brown, a.k.a.
a One-Woman Team with Many Hats!

-
Call me Bishop Butterscotch, Juice Brown (aka Radio Roxanne), or Sister BIG BONE.

-
I'm a Licensed Psychotherapist, Nationally Certified Counselor, Adjunct Psychology Professor, Therapeutic Art Life Coach, and the proud Founder & Owner of Mental Health Monarchs.

-
I'm a bundle of contrasts: sensitive yet assertive, humorous, kind-hearted, and oh-so-creative. Picture an introverted extrovert who loves cats, sports big hair, enjoys loud music, and has a thing for shoes and gadgets.

-
And yes, proudly and unapologetically Black as F*ck!

My Journey: From Survivor to Empowerer

-
My passion for mental health isn't just professional; it's deeply personal. As a survivor of childhood traumas and toxic relationships, I've walked complex paths of healing and self-discovery, and I am still on a journey of emotional self-mastery and deeper emotional healing.

-
It's been a journey of self-exploration and discovery, from unpacking emotional wounds to overcoming anger, toxic relationships, self-doubt, anxiety, and more.

-
Through my own path, I realized how crucial it is to have nurturing, safe spaces for uncovering our true selves, embracing who we are, and feeling that oh-so-important validation from others walking a similar road – this understanding is the heartbeat of what I do!

Our Shared Space: A Sanctuary for Self-Exploration

-
Welcome to our sanctuary! It's a place for exploration, acceptance, and empowerment.

-
I'm super excited you're here and can't wait to embark on this transformative journey together.

The rigor of this certification is validated by my flawless 4.0 GPA—a testament to my commitment and prowess in this interdisciplinary field. Furthermore, my academic journey afforded me robust endorsements from my instructors, who identified me as a standout candidate, highly proficient, and adept in psychology and modern educational strategies.

Armed with a Master's degree in Professional Counseling, I undertook pivotal counseling practicums and an internship at a sanctuary for women and children in crisis, gaining invaluable, hands-on experience.

Having secured a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, I garnered accolades from my academic mentors for my prowess in critical thought and innovative thinking. I distinguished myself through my unique ability to discern underlying patterns and subtleties in human behavior, thereby drawing illuminating connections between ostensibly disparate phenomena.
